Arizona State University and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and The Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering celebrate the launch of the School of Materials

Official Launch Ceremony with President Michael M. Crow

The Science and Engineering of Materials and Materials Engineering Programs have been merged to create a School of Materials at ASU. The school is administered jointly by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering. The aim of the new school is to become a world leader in providing opportunities for leading edge research and integrated education in materials. It will fast forward materials science of the future by bringing faculty together from sciences and engineering. It will prepare students who can handle future materials challenges both in academia and industry.
